Nse Ikpe-Etim: I’m not ashamed I don’t have children.

Actress Nse Ikpe-Etim has revealed how she felt inadequate after discovering she can’t give birth to children.

The movie star disclosed this in her interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo on his show #WithChude.

The award -winning actress, who is 47, said she was not ashamed about not being able to have kids of her own.

“I didn’t feel shame but inadequacy, I felt inadequate as a woman because every time it was mentioned I would remember. So that’s what it was,” she said.

“Shame, I’m not ashamed. The least that I would be but I’m thankful for how I was brought up, we don’t tie shame to ourselves. We live through life fully and that’s how it is.”

While speaking of how supportive her husband has been said: “My husband had stood by me through all of this because that’s the way it’s supposed to be when people say oh we need to really be thankful for. What really happened?? This is us, you walk in there as if it’s a partnership, what comes good, bad, ugly, it’s us just let it be,” she added.

When asked if she’s open to adoption, the actress said ‘never say never. “You never say never, but right now Clifford and I are dog parents. People should be allowed to live, what else? We are okay! And nothing defines you, not one thing defines you,” she said.

Ike-Etim got married in 2013 to her hubby Clifford Sule.

In 2019, the actress revealed her inability to conceive children.

According to Etim, she removed her womb because she was diagnosed with Adenomyosis, a condition whereby the inner lining of the uterus breaks through the muscle wall of the uterus.

One person that always inspired me is Don Jazzy, with how he has shown through Mavin, that music can be structured by Nigerians at a global standard. Kanye west has also always been a big inspiration for me, both musically and entrepreneurally.”
He says further that “I’m still that young boy from Abuja, still learning and trying to navigate  through the entertainment industry but strongly believes in structure and I’m passionate about getting It right. I believe that it’s time for me to start small. With the launch of Royals Music, I can take the next phase in the evolution of my art & brand and by God’s grace, I can still Give Back to the creative society that has helped me thrive over the last few years.”
The launch comes just before the release of his debut single fittingly titled “Givin Dem” which is the first single off his upcoming album LOTP (Life of The Party). For this album, Yung Willis has partnered with the Mr Eazi powered international label, emPawa Africa. He is assured that what he has in store to Give Us  is set to “Blow our Minds” and everyone should be on the lookout. Given Dem is out this friday, June 10th, 2022. Yung Willis is really Givin Dem.

Star actor, Adebayo Salami, has appreciated God and his family on his 70th birthday.

The veteran took to his official Instagram account to celebrate his achievements with a picture.
