WATCH! Papa Benji season 2 finale is here! [Teaser]

The second season of Basketmouth’s comedy series ‘Papa Benji’ is officially set to draw the curtains two months after thrilling fans with comic episodes. 

Confirming the show’s season final, showrunner, Basketmouth recently released a hilarious teaser which he captioned: “It gives me no pleasure to announce the final episode of #PapaBenji Season 2.”

The show’s 13th and finale episode will premiere on October 23, 2021 on YouTube and promises more intriguing shenanigans from the comic characters fans have grown to love.

Starring Bethel ‘Senator’ Njoku, Onyebuchi Ojieh, Nedu Wazobia, Jemima Osunde and Basketmouth, ‘Papa Benji’ is centered on a Pepper soup joint owner’s day to day running of business. Like season one, the new season spotted a bit of satire with characters Papa Solo (Buchi) and Mr Jiminus (Basketmouth). 

Meanwhile, the stand-up comedian and filmmaker recently announced his latest project, ‘Ghana Jollof’, a Showmax Original series set to premiere exclusively on the streamer from October 22, 2021.

Recall the popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo welcomed a baby girl through surrogacy few years back.

Posting photos of her daughter, Ini wrote;

I’m taking a break from acting next year – Timini Egbuson

Popular Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has announced that he will be going on a sabbatical next year.

He disclosed this in a recent podcast interview with content creator, Kamsi Nnamani.

He said has been going from set to set over the years and only managed six hours of sleep a day.

The thespian noted that it was high time he took a break.

Egbuson said, “I only rest when I go out at night. I only sleep five hours to six hours a day. And then keep the work going. But next year I’m going on a sabbatical. I have been acting for the past fourteen years consistently. There has never been a downtime or a time when I’m just chilling. And I did not say that with pride. I say that with all humility. It has just been God.”

He said he stumbled into acting by following his sister, actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande to sets.

He added he would initially go to sets to protect her but then he fell in love with acting.
