Yul Edochie’s parents at fault he took second wife – Okoroji.

Controversial director Chima Okoroji has blamed the parents of actor Yul Edochie for the second wife he took.

He said getting a son from his second wife Judy Austin was all the fault of the actor’s parents

Okoroji a-look-alike of music superstar Davido, said: “I am not surprised about what has happened between Yul and Judy Austin. We need to look at the root cause of Yul’s action before we apportion blame.

“Yul at a tender age when most young men were exhibiting their prowess and getting adventurous got a girl pregnant and based on tradition was forced to marry at that very young age without checking the effect of that action on his youthful age.

“Our parents should take precaution about this kind of situation. They should allow their children to get mature enough to decide on what they want.”

Nollywood loses another veteran actor.

A popular actor, Sir David Osagie is died.

The 52-year-old known for playing the role of a king in many movies, reportedly died hours after filming on set.

The actor’s death was announced by a junior colleague, Ngozi Ezeh via her Instagram page as other colleagues mourned the thespian.

According to Ezeh, the deceased died suddenly as he didn’t have any known illness.

“Good morning fam, I hate to say this but we have lost another Nollywood king, Sir David. He wasn’t sick, it just happened. How do we explain this, another loss in Nollywood. Oh Lord have mercy. Rest in peace Sir Dave.

“I Mourn again oh I mourn ooh.

Marriage, in general, is the union of two people to become husband and wife. And there are various kinds of marriage relationships, such as monogamy, which is the marriage of one man and one wife while Polygamy is the marriage of one man and more than one wife.

Some Nollywood actors have chosen or decided to tread the route of polygamy and they never dither to show off their families.

Here are famous Nollywood celebrities who married more than one wife;

1. Segun Ogungbe

Ogungbe, born in Oyo State in March 1970, is happily married to Atinuke Ogungbe and Omowunmi Ajiboye. The actor has four children with them having given birth to two children each.

The actor has revealed that even though he is a polygamist, his home is very peaceful contrary to popular belief. Ogungbe has featured in a lot of movies including Baba Arugbo, Agartha, Father and Daughter among others.

Fondly called Ogogo, the famous actor began acting in 1981 after working as an auto mechanic for the Lagos Water Corporation.

3. Yul Edochie

Yul Edochie, the son of famous veteran actor Pete Edochie, has joined the list of Nollywood actors who have married more than one woman after recently informing the public via his verified social media account about his son and second wife, Judy Austin.

The thespian was formerly married to May Aligwe, with whom he has three sons and a daughter. Adding to that, He recently addressed her as his Number one in a post he shared on his media account.

4. Jide Kosoko

Jide Kosoko is a Nigerian veteran actor who has established himself as one of Nollywood’s greatest as well as one of the industry’s most prominent figures. He was born on January 12, 1954 in Lagos to the Kosoko royalty of Lagos Island.

Prince Jide Kosoko is married to two wives, Karimat and Henrietta (late), and were both blessed with children and grandchildren. He is the biological father of six children: Bidemi, Shola, Temilade, Tunji, Muyiwa, and Tunde Kosoko.

The Nollywood star has starred in numerous Nigerian films of both English and Yoruba Languages.

Veteran actor and movie producer, Ugezu J. Ugezu has posed a question to ladies on polygamy.

The news of his younger colleague, Yul Edochie’s second wife and son has continued to lead discourse topic on the Internet

Many insisted the actor was wrong to have taken a second wife considering he’s from a Christian home and has a father who’s always spoken against the practice of polygamy.

Although others have commended the movie actor for taking the bold step of marrying the mother of his other child as they noted it his decision to practice polygamy was way better than constantly committing adultery.

As social media users continue the debate on polygamy and Yul’s decision to take a second wife, Ugezu known for his controversial stance on issues has weighed in on the matter.

The film maker, in an Instagram post, wondered if all the ladies are against polygamy online, who then are those dating married men offline.

He argued the married men may just be dating spirits considering the ladies reactions online.

“All the ladies in our society condemn polygamy online. Who then are the ladies dating married men offline? SPIRITS, I guess?” the actor asked.

Continuing, Ugezu insisted the rate of pretenders and liars in today’s society were alarming.

“The Nigerian Pharisees and Sadducees are deadlier than the ones in the scriptures. Pretenders and liars everywhere!”
